Guelph Storm offence dries up in Sarnia

Power play goes 0-for-4 in a a 4-1 loss to the lowly Sarnia Sting

SARNIA – The Guelph Storm managed to score just one goal and had 29 shots on net in a 4-1 road loss to the last place Sarnia Sting on Sunday.

Guelph fell behind 2-0 in the opening three minutes before Keegan Stevenson made it 2-1 before the period was over.

After a scoreless second period, Sarnia's Jacob Perreault scored on a breakaway and then added another on a five-on-three power play to finish off the scoring.

Owen Bennett got the start in net for Guelph against and made 31 saves.

The Storm power play went scoreless in four attempts.

Guelph will host the Kitchener Rangers on Wednesday.
