LONDON – Owen Bennett made 33 saves and Cooper Walker scored the game winning goal shorthanded as the Guelph Storm downed the London Knights 3-2 Sunday afternoon in London.

The win, Guelph's fifth game in eight days, snapped Guelph's three-game losing streak.

Guelph led 1-0 after the first on a goal by Danny Zhilkin and 2-0 five minutes into the second on a Ben McFarlane power play goal.

London bounced back with goals by Easton Cowan and Brody Crane to make it 2-2 before the end of the second.

The winner came at 2:07 of third period when London goaltender Brett Brochu mishandled the puck at the side of the London goal, allowing Walker to circle the net and fire it into the open goal.

Next game for Guelph is Friday when they host the Windsor Spitfires.
