KINGSTON - The Guelph Storm road trip went in the ditch in Kingston Sunday afternoon as the Guelph Storm fell 4-1 to the Kingston Frontenacs.
Guelph took a 1-0 lead at 7:54 of the second period on a Luke Burghardt goal, but it was all Kingston after that.
Sam Harding's shorthanded goal tied the game at 11:10 of the second period and Linus Nyman scored the eventual winner at 18:15 of the second on the power play.
Nyman added an insurance goal 35 seconds into the third and Cody Caron rounded out the scoring at 10:54 of the third.
Liam Herbst faced 42 shots in the Storm net and Jeremy Helvig made 25 saves for Kingston.
Guelph now sits in ninth place in the Western Conference with a 7-8-2-1 record.
They host the Ottawa 67's Friday at the Sleeman Centre.
