SAGINAW, MI — Pavel Gogolev scored the lone goal of the shootout as the Guelph Storm downed the Saginaw Spirit 3-2 on Wednesday.

The game was a make up of a game postponed on Nov. 2 in Saginaw due to poor ice conditions.

Cooper Walker had tied the game for Guelph with his first OHL goal at 8:04 of the third period as the Storm trailed 2-1 after one period and the second period was scoreless.

Matt Papais had Guelph's other goal and Nico Daws made 38 saves in regulation and overtime.

The Storm will host the Barrie Colts on Friday night and the London Knights on Sunday afternoon.
