Danny Zhilkin heads back to the bench after scoring against London last season.

Guelph Storm defenceman Cam Allen will miss the next two to four weeks with a shoulder injury, the team reports.

Allen, one of the top-rated defenceman in the next NHL draft, suffered a minor dislocation of his shoulder on what seemed like a fairly innocent collision with a Windsor Spitfires player in the second period of their game in Windsor on Wednesday.

Allen has 16 points in 33 games this season.

In better news, Storm forward Danny Zhilkin has signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Winnipeg Jets.

The deal has an average annual value in the NHL of $913,333.

Zhilkin, 19, has 25 points in 23 games for the Storm this season after being drafted in the third round of the NHL entry draft by Winnipeg in 2022.

He has sat out the past three Storm games with a suspension but is set to return to the lineup tonight when the Storm hosts the Windsor Spitfires at the Sleeman Centre.
