Guelph Storm forward Zach Poirier has been suspended for four games by the Ontario Hockey League.

Poirier was given a five-minute major for a head check on the Owen Sound Attack's Markus Phillips last Saturday in Owen Sound.

This is Poirier's second suspension this season. He recently returned from a 10-game suspension for a head check.

Poirier will be eligible to return on Dec. 16 when the Storm hosts the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
