Guelph Storm's Ratcliffe earns shot at world juniors

One of 34 players invited to try out later this month

Guelph Storm winger Isaac Ratcliffe has been invited to try out for Canada's national junior team.

Ratcliffe was one of 34 players selected by Hockey Canada Monday to attend the tryout camp Dec. 10 to Dec. 14 in British Columbia.

The world juniors start Dec. 26 in Vancouver and Victoria.

Ratcliffe is one of 19 forwards vying for a spot on the team.

A second round draft pick of the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers, the London native has 19 goals and 33 points in 27 games so far this season after scoring 41 goals last season.
