The Canadian Hockey League announced Wednesday that the 2018 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game will be hosted by the Guelph Storm at Sleeman Centre.

The game takes place on Jan. 25.

It features 40 of the top junior players from the CHL's three junior leagues who are eligible for the 2018 National Hockey League Draft.

"We are extremely excited to bring such a prestigious event to the city of Guelph,” said Storm co-owner and governor Rick Gaetz in a press release. “For our great fans, our partners and of course our players, we are thrilled to be the next world class host for this elite game.”

The Storm have had 18 players compete in the event over the years, including Isaac Ratcliffe and Nate Schnarr in the 2017 game, which was held in Quebec City.
