Due to a reported exposure to an opponent who subsequently tested positive for COVID-19, Peel Public Health has mandated a period of self-isolation for members of the Sigma FC roster as they were deemed close contacts.
As a result, the Guelph United FC match scheduled for Saturday, September 11 at 3 p.m. has been postponed by the league. A new date has yet to be determined.
Guelph United FC number one priority will always be to ensure the safety of our players, staff and fans and we commend the league for following health regulations to keep all participants safe.
For those who have purchased tickets, they will be honoured for our eventual match-up vs. Sigma FC. For those who entered our Ticket Giveaway contest, those tickets will be honoured for the revised date as well.
We appreciate your understanding and we look forward to welcoming Sigma FC to our home field in the near future
