Hurricanes blow Bombers away

Pezzetta with a goal and four assists to lead the way

Ryan Waterhouse had the hat trick and Stefano Pezzetta had a goal and four assists as the Guelph Hurricanes downed the Brampton Bombers 9-1 in junior B action Saturday at the Sleeman Centre.

Quinn Hanna, Corson Searles, Brody Milne, Sebastian Stangherlin and Lucas Dybowski also scored for the Canes, who led 2-1 after the first period and 8-1 after two.

Jason DaSilva made 22 saves in the Guelph net to earn the win.

Guelph plays in Kitchener Tuesday then hosts Waterloo Saturday.
