SUDBURY — The Guelph Storm surrendered two early goals to the Sudbury Wolves before scoring five straight on their way to a 5-2 road win Friday night.

The Wolves beat Nico Daws twice in the opening 7:44 of the game, but after that Daws shut the door and let his teammates take over.

Jacob Roach, Pavel Gogolev and Daniil Chayka scored in a four-minute span of the first period to give Guelph the lead it wouldn't relinquish.

Jacob Maillet, with his first OHL goal, and Gogolev with his second of the game put Guelph up 5-2 in the second period.

Sudbury outshot Guelph 34-29.

The Storm's next game is Wednesday when they host the Erie Otters.
