The Guelph Storm has traded goaltender Cole Ceci to the Oshawa Generals.

In return the Storm receives an eighth round draft pick.

Ceci, 19, was acquired from the Hamilton Bulldogs two weeks ago in exchange for a ninth round draft pick. He started one game and played in came on in relief in one other, playing 90 minutes in total. His goals-against average in that time was 6.69.

The trading of Ceci means rookie goaltender Nico Daws, who had been out with an ankle injury, will now back up starter Anthony Popovich.

The Storm hosts the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday.
