BLACKPOOL, United Kingdom — Cory Paterson scored with four minutes remaining and Ryan Brierley converted as the Toronto Wolfpack scored three unanswered tries to complete the comeback in a 28-26 victory over the Leigh Centurions at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.

The try and conversion from Paterson and Brierley put the Wolfpack on top for the first time all game. The Centurions had a chance to tie it, but Ben Reynolds missed on a penalty kick at the buzzer.

Gareth O'Brien, Nick Rawsthorne, Josh McCrone and Olsi Krasniqi also had tries for the Wolfpack, while Brierley had four conversions.

Toronto stretched its win streak to 11 games and sits atop the second-tier Betfred Championship standings at 13-1-1.

Ben Crooks scored two tries for the Centurions (9-5-0), while Jack Owens, Nathan Mason and Jamie Acton each had one apiece. Reynolds had three goals.

The Centurions had won 11 in a row in league and cup play coming into the game. Their 1-4-0 start to the season saw coach Neil Jukes step down.

Saturday's match was the third and final game of "Summer Bash," which saw six Championship fixtures over two days at Bloomfield Road.

The Wolfpacks' next game is June 9 against the London Broncos, when the team kicks off an eight-game homestand in their return to the newly renovated Lamport Stadium.
