ALBINYI, Velma Irene

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Guelph General
Hospital, on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Velma Irene (Gatto) Albinyi, age 81
years, was the beloved wife of Michael Albinyi of Guelph. She was the
loving mother of Julie Albinyi and Michael Albinyi Jr. Velma was the proud
grandmother of Veronica Stafford (Justin VanHeeswyk), and great-mother of
Chloe Bishenden, Hailee Bishenden, and Rylan VanHeeswyk. Predeceased by
her two sisters, Elda Case, and Bina Scopel, and by her brother Guido
Gatto.

Private cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at St.
Joseph’s Church 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at
10 a.m. Entombment of ashes in Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount
Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian
Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Donation cards are
