On October 31, 2016, Geraldine Alcorn (Anderson) passed away in her 98th year at Eden House Care Facility in Eden Mills Ontario. Born August 4, 1919 in Malmo Alberta and a resident of Guelph Ontario since 1970, Gerry is survived by daughter Wendy McCarvell, granddaughter Laleh Hatefi, great grandson Jordan Emmerson, sister Jeanette Patrick of Calahoo Alberta and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Mert and daughter Beverly. Family will attend a graveside memorial on Saturday, November 5. Our thanks go out to the kind and compassionate personnel at Eden House.
A tree will be planted in memory of Geraldine Alcorn in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
