Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, January 17, 2020. Lucia (nee Favero) Artuso, age 91 years, was the beloved wife of the late Carlo S. Artuso (October 29, 2001). She was the loving mother of Mary and her late husband Alan Ferris, Ed Artuso and his wife Jill and Lou Artuso, all of Guelph. Their mother lived her life with simple rules; do unto others as you would have them do unto you; if you can't say something good then say nothing at all. Mary, Ed and Lou feel blessed with a mother who was selfless in all her actions. Her life was a powerful example of strength and caring. She was also the beloved Nonna of six grandchildren Adam, Alana (Gord), Alexander (Olivia), Karley, Curtis and Lindsey. She treasured her grandchildren and in her love, they learned how tradition in
a well-served meal holds families together. Lucia is survived by her siblings Tony, Achille, Ambrosio and Silvio.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on January 24, 2020 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John's Church, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph on January 25, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
