Of Etobicoke, passed away peacefully at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of 64 years to Evelyn. Loved father of Wayne (Evelyn Vyse). Loving grandfather of Christine (Joe), Melissa, Jessica (Mike) and Dawn (Ryan). Cherished great grandfather of Kyra, Jayde, Miyah, Alexia, Amari and Charlotte. Survived by brothers Orville (Kathy) and Eden (Gladys). Predeceased by his parents William and Elena Awrey and his siblings Milton, Merle and Roland. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Monday, August 15, 2016 from noon until 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Memorial contributions to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
