Musician. Singer. Music teacher and director. Real estate agent. Church administrator. Mother. Grandmother.
At daybreak in her 93rd year – while the birds were chirping and the rain was pattering on the windows, with her family “sawing logs” in the background and her crazy dog, Maggie, by her side – she left this world as peacefully as she had wished. It was as though the day was welcoming Kathleen to her next adventure.
Thanks for being such an amazing, beautiful Mom to John (and Jane), Fred, Brita, Gretchen and Ceci, and Grandma to Sarah (and Jordan), Brent, Michael and Jonathan.
Special thanks to the Personal Support Workers attending to her over the past year, the Bayshore palliative care team, and friends sending Therapeutic Touch®.
Cremation has taken place according to Kathleen’s wishes. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 519-822-0051. Condolences can be sent to the family via the funeral home website below Kathleen’s notice.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada or an organization of your choice.
A tree will be planted in memory of Kathleen Ball in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum.
