Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Village of Riverside Glen on Saturday, December 30, 2017, in her 76th year.
Loved mother of Ron Bambrick (Belinda) and Katharine Bambrick. Loving grandmother of Victoria (Zemar), Daniel and Kristin. Great grandmother of Zoe. Sister of Clair and predeceased by brother Edward.
Jean will be remembered as loving and caring to all those lives whom she touched. Jean was determined to maintain her independence, had a positive attitude and a great sense of humor. She had a rewarding life, raising her family and later, returning to college and proudly receiving her diploma as a library technician, and embarking on a new career at Mohawk College, where she eventually retired. Jean loved spending time with her family including her grandchildren and great grandchild. Throughout her life, she enjoyed bird watching, gardening, admiring flowers, watching sports (especially hockey and the blue jays), and most recently being the president of the social committee at Foxwood Place.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018 at 11 am.
