It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew Barclay of Guelph on November 22, 2018 in his 58th year.
Born in Montreal, he was the treasured son of Doug and Thelma Barclay. Beloved husband of 36 years to Jill (nee Tremblay). Loving father of Jason, Rachell, Jessica and Kyle (predeceased). Cherished brother to Jane, Margery (Mike), Susan and Audrey (Greg). Fondly remembered by mother-in-law Marie (Walter), sister-in-law Carolyn (Chantal) and his many nieces and nephews.
Andrew was outgoing, always had a joke to share and will be remembered for his generous kindness and easy laughter. He loved to travel with his wife Jill, spending time with family and friends and the great outdoors.
Special thanks to Nurse Carla Schwartz, Dr. Kevin Samson, Dr. Raso and all the wonderful staff at Hospice Wellington for their care and kindness.
At Andrew’s request, no service or visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Hospice Wellington or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
