William Haywood Barlow (lovingly known as BJ or Bill) was born on May 7, 1950 to his loving parents Doris and the late Jack (JB) Barlow. It is with the greatest of sorrow that we announce to the world that our Patriarch of three families has passed into Heaven on November 25, 2017.  He was our messenger of immeasurable love on earth. BJ was the adored and cherished husband of Alanna Barlow (Bug). A dearly loved dad to Kyle (Aleisha) Barlow and Jason (Jessica) Barlow.  A very precious papa to Benro, Landen, baby Winter, Acacia, Mercedes, Czarina, Jack and Eloise Barlow. BJ leaves behind his loving brother Greg (Kerri) Barlow, and sisters Jackie (Walter) Voortman and Sharon (Jim) Brush. Uncle BJ will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. BJ is an admired and loved member of his extended family: Kathy McPhee, the late Wendy (Bob) Callahan, the late Marie Oceipka, the late Brent Krusky, Alan (Linda) Krusky, Susan (Chris) Kiernan, Debbie (Jim) Bell, Diane (Tim) Gaw, Gerry (Jeff) Newsome, Luci (Dwight) Mann.

He was a long time employee of AOC Canada, where he was a respected leader in his position.  Bill admired his colleagues immensely.  To all the boys on the floor: You each meant the world to Bill.  He often spoke so proudly of his team.  We thank you for your friendship and the many laughs that brightened his days.
BJ is an inspiration to all those he ever met during his lifetime.  His dancing eyes and kind heart filled with love and light will be missed by us all.

The family would like to invite you to Celebrate BJ’s Life at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated. Donation cards are available at the funeral home or online.
