Passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital, on Sunday, September 11, 2016. Beloved wife of Wayne Barnard. Loving mother of Jeremy King, Tia Petrie and Sarah Shafer (Adam Bergon). Proud grandma of Jaden, Tagen and Sidney. Daughter of Jane and the late John Uyl. Daughter-in-law of Helen and the late Ralph Barnard. Sister-in-law of Karen Guitard (Jeff Guitard). Predeceased by her brother Terry Uyl. The family would like to thank Grand River Hospital, Freeport Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital for their care and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
