BARRETT, Claire Marie Thérèse - Claire (née Baillargeon) passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on October 11, 2018. Cherished wife of 64 years to Vernon Barrett, and loving mother of Lynne (Paul Dunderas). Proud grand-maman to two grandchildren, Matthew and Lisa. Claire was born in Montreal the second eldest of six born to Thérèse and Paul Baillargeon. She will be remembered by her sister Adèle (Roger Théberge) and brothers André and Jacques and was predeceased by her brothers Guy and François. A chic and modern woman of her time, Claire was most proud of her French Canadian heritage and her grandchildren. She led an active life; she taught French and was an avid golfer, curler and bridge player. A private family service of remembrance will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice Wellington. We would also like to recognize the wonderful care and kindness provided by Rita and Marley of CCAC.
