Passed away peacefully at home on August 19th, 2016 at 89 years old. Beloved wife of the late Angelo Bertolo. Cherished mother of Linda (the late Reno, cherished son-in-law and part of our family for 39 years), Franco and Dina (Albert Blais).Treasured Nonna of Chad and Kyle DaMaren, Ashley and Corey Bertolo, Angelica and Stephan Blais. Loving sister of Vilma, Tersilla, Renzo, Angelo, Aldo and Livio and the late Giorgio. Loving sister-in-law and aunt to our families in Italy and Canada. 
Aurora emigrated from Italy in 1952 to marry her beloved Angelo and they settled in Guelph to raise their family. She had a genuine zest for life and laughter. Aurora enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and life-long neighbours. 
She had a passion for tending her geraniums, traveling, playing bocce, and dessert time. Aurora leaves behind a legacy of great memories for all who knew and loved her. Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to her dedicated and loving caregiver, Clynie Daliguez, the great support from her PSW’s (Rene McGee, Adriana Storey, Jean Morgan and Shannon). Many thanks to Alison Haelzle, her Paramed Nurse and Nurse Kate. 
Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph for visitation on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A vigil for Aurora will take place on Monday at 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John's Church, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Guelph CCAC would be very appreciated by the family.
