Glenna passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by those she loved on December 30th 2018 at 79 years of age. Glenna will be forever missed by her daughter Debbie. Predeceased by her husband Gordon in 2011. Lovingly remembered by her brother Ron (Inez) Wilkin, sisters Hazel (Stan) McLean, Bette Lou (George) Maidment. Fondly remembered by her brother-in-laws Max, Bert (Marg), Jim (Peggy), Walter and sister-in-laws Jean Jackson (Ben), Isabel Wickhorst (Jim) and Arnetta Black. Predeceased by her sister Marie and her in-laws Bill, Bud & Olive, Hugh & Florence, Charles Quarrie, Ron Jackson and Leon Russell. Glenna is survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, many close friends and by her numerous past students. Visitation for Glenna will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus on Sunday January 6th from 2-4 and 7-9pm as well as from noon till 1pm on Monday January 7th at St. Andrew’s Church in Fergus. The funeral service will follow at 1pm with interment at Belsyde Cemetery. Donations can be directed towards The Alzheimer Society or Groves Memorial Hospital. 519-843-3100
