Passed away peacefully at his home after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness on May 21st 2018 in his 89th year.
Predeceased by his cherished wife, Florence. Dearly loved father of Bonnie (Robert), Karen and Brenda (Gord). Loved grandfather of Karenda, Karley (Matt) , Leah, Lauren, Carlen and Zachary. Loving "Grandpa Q", as he was known by his great grandchildren, to Tamaya, Owen, Liam, Harlome and Morgan.
Missed by brothers Max, Bert (Marg), Jim (Peggy), Walter and sisters Jean (Ben) and Isabel (Jim). Predeceased by brothers Bud, Bill and Gordon, sister in law Olive and brother in laws Ron and Leon. Also missed by sister in laws Arnetta, Glenna, Charlene, brother in law George and many special neices and nephews. 
Greatly missed by good friend and golfing buddy Don Antosh.
The family would like to especially thank all who supported and cared for Dad so that he could spend his final days in his home. 
Dad was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was an avid golfer, curler, reader, dancer and sports enthusiast. 
He will be missed at the golf course, the curling club, the dance hall, 447 Garafraxa Street and touring the streets of Fergus in his little red VW bug. Visitation will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus from 3-5pm and 7-9pm on Thursday May 24th and the funeral service will be held at the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Fergus on Friday May 25th at 1pm. 
The family appreciate in lieu of flowers, donations made to Toronto Sick Kids Hospital.
