With sad but peaceful hearts, we share the news of the passing of our beloved Bill.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 75 years, Lucy (February 2019).
Treasured father of David Book and his wife Wendy, Margaret Clark and her husband Bruce and Kathy Magee and her husband Brian. Proud grandpa of Peter, Sarah (Owen), David (Betty), Zoe (Dave) and Beau, and great-grandfather of Isaac, Elliott, Jacob, Eva and Adrian. He will also be dearly missed by his sister-in-law Leone Reeder, good friend Helen-Marie Robins and many cherished nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Grant and Aleathea Book, his siblings Jack Book and Margaret Church and their spouses, and his good friend and mentor Dr. Alex Frew.
Bill's family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph for a Memorial Service to commemorate his life on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. If so desired, memorial donations made to
Harcourt Memorial United Church, The Arthritis Society or The MS Society would be appreciated.
