James Craig Bremner, 56, passed on August, 10th 2016 in Guelph General Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Craig was predeceased by his wife of 27 years Valerie Marie Bremner (Stroeder). Beloved father of Scott (Traci) and Matthew Bremner. Doting grandfather of Kendrik Bremner. Much loved son of Jim and Joan Bremner of Guelph. Cherished brother of Glenn (Anita) Bremner of Guelph, Valerie (Ray) Merkley of Orillia and Mark (Susan) Bremner of Cambridge. Caring son-in-law to Phyllis Stroeder. Craig had an exceptional career of 33 years at Toronto Dominion Bank, where his friends and colleagues will miss him greatly. He was a passionate cyclist, hockey player and golfer. Craig was devoted to his family, caring for them in difficult times and hosting many joyful gatherings in his home. He will leave an irreplaceable hole in our lives. Family and friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk Street, Guelph, on Sunday the 14th of August from 1-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 20 Quebec Street, Guelph on Tuesday, August 16th at 10 am. Reception to follow at Metcalf Hall.  Memorial contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 35 Belmont Ave. W., Kitchener, ON N2M 1L2 or the Trillium Gift of Life Network, 522 University Ave, Toronto, ON M5G 1W7 would be greatly appreciated by the family. They would also like to thank Carla, Laura, Sue, Serge and doctors and nurses from the Guelph General Hospital for their caring during this difficult time.

A tree will be planted in memory of J. Craig Bremner in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 2:30 pm.
