BRIESTENSKY, John

(November 16, 1964 – May 28, 2016)
Passed away suddenly on May 28, 2016 at the age of 51. Predeceased by his parents Karl and Virginia (McKenna) Briestensky and by his son Johnathan Craig Briestensky (1986). Dear brother of Cindy (Phil Naylor), Mark (Colleen), and Maria (Robert Povelofskie). John was loved by all his family and friends. His zest for life and sense of humour will always be remembered. He was a good-hearted man who always had a positive outlook on life. He enjoyed and was a talented drum player. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Saturday June 4th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Donations to the Drop In Centre would be appreciated by the family.
