BROUSSEAU, Vivian Veronica (nee Fitzpatrick)

Peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in her
86th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Douglas (2011). Loving
mother of Barry and his wife Sue, Lorrie and her husband Brad Taylor,
Randy and his wife Ann and Shelley and her husband Wayne Holmes. Loving
Nanny to Devon Taylor, Jonathan Brousseau, Crystal-Sue Brousseau, Meagan
Taylor, Ian Brousseau, Braiden Brousseau, David Brousseau, Jesse Holmes,
Courtney Fudger, Brooke McCullough, Andy and Phillip Hodgkins. Cherished
great Nanny to Madeline, Noah, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Jaden, McKenna, Jonas,
Sierra, Issac, Scarlett, Xander, Mason and Silas.

Dear sister of Bernice Lawrenceson (Ken, deceased), Marlene Herlihey
(Paul), Iola McTaggart (Frank), Cliff Fitzpatrick (Betty, deceased) and
Carol Fitzpatrick. Predeceased by her brother Gerry (Minnie), sisters Lucy
Smith (Jack) and Eleanor Metcalf (Lloyd). Dear sister-in-law to Pat Dobbie
(Bob) and dearest friend to Marg Wellhauser, Gwen Sanderson and Joyce
Grimes.

Auntie Viv will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Her home
was always open to many friends, and there was always an extra potato in
the pot for supper as you never knew who would be there. Viv and Doug
hosted many a party and family get together in their home in Arkell.
Starting work as a young women, she worked for several insurance companies
before starting her family. In later years she was the Office Manager for
Doug’s electrical contracting business, enjoyed gardening, sewing and
baking and her growing family. Viv and Doug wintered in Florida for over
20 years and made many new friends. She loved to dress up, favoured bright
colours, and always had shoes, handbags and jewelry to match.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099
Gordon Street, Guelph, on Wednesday, July 10th, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm
with vigil prayers at 2pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy
Rosary Church, 175 Emma Street, Guelph on Thursday, July 11th, 2019 at
10:30am. Cremation has taken place.

Our family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff
at LaPointe-Fischer Nursing home who were kind, patient and respectful of
Vivian in her last year.

As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung
Association or the Heart and Stoke Foundation would be appreciated by the
family (cards are available at the funeral home 519-821-5077 or donations
and condolences may be made on line.
