Passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the age of 55 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family in the peacefulness of her home. Barb was an amazing wife and best friend to Brian who will miss her so dearly. She adored her sons Lucas and Elliot and dedicated her life to nurturing them into the kind and thoughtful men they’ve become. Barb was a beautiful sister and life long friend to Margaret Steinlin and Joanne Pronk (Irwin) and was deeply treasured by them. Loving aunt and friend of Nathan (Kahlyn), Andrew (Cynthia), Michael (Leanne), Rebecca and Adam. Beloved daughter of Hellmuth and the late Frances Steinlin. Lovingly remembered by Karen and Clay Ferguson and their children Nicole and Brianne; Judy and Jim Harrison and their children Heather (Bruno); Michelle (Dan), Matt (Melissa), Bob and Cathy Bulger and their children Kaitlyn, Jillian and Emma, and by Paul, Peter, her aunts and uncles, and by many close friends and acquaintances.

Barb devoted her life to serving her community in various ways. She was actively involved with Run & Read, Christmas food hampers, Victory School, Breakfast Club, Lakeside Church Youth Leader, Hope House Joy Home Tour and Celebrate Recovery Leadership Team. She served passionately in these areas because of the reality of her faith in Jesus Christ Her Lord and Saviour.
