Joyce peacefully passed away September 7th, 2018, at the age of 88, surrounded by her family. Joyce is predeceased by her brothers Peter and Alfred and by her sister Margaret. She is survived by her husband David Thomas Bushell. She will be sadly missed by her children Susan, Wendy, and Kevin, by children-in-law Paul Del Bel Belluz and Marilyn Gillespie, and by her grandchildren Abrahm, Julian, and Solana Del Bel Belluz and Gabriel Bushell-Ogonovsky. Joyce was a graduate of the City & Guilds Textiles program and was a renowned and active member of the Kingston Heirloom Quilters, the Napanee Heritage Quilters Guild, and was a founding member of the Cateraqui Guild of Needle Arts. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her emotional fortitude, and her artistic sensibility, especially in the embroidery and quilting arts.
