It is with unimaginable heartbreak and sadness for us to share that our beautiful daughter, Sarah Byars was granted her Angel wings on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the age of 18. She passed away peacefully at MacMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton. She will be missed terribly by her mom Karen Guse (Terry), dad Randy Byars (Judy), cherished little sister of Daniel and Matthew Byars and Carleen and Lauren Best. Always remembered by her aunts and uncles, Rick Guse (Heather), Ron Guse (Sylvia) and Teresa Schmitz (Jeff). Dearly missed by her cousins Brad Guse (Melissa), Ryan Guse, Bailey Schmitz and Zoe Schmitz. Sadly missed by her grandparents Clarence and Naomi Guse and Joan Byars. Her guardian angel grandpa Warren Byars has welcomed her in heaven. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A service of remembrance will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 1320 Gordon St., Guelph on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. with visitation at the Citadel starting from 3 p.m. By request, donations in lieu of flowers made to “Team Sarah” which will provide funding for McMaster Children’s Hospital, Ronald MacDonald House Hamilton or to a Memorial Scholarship Fund would be greatly appreciated.
