Callaghan, George Stanley Batey (Stan) - Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, January 29, 2016. Stan Callaghan in his 84th year, was the loving father of Susan Ruddell of Guelph, and David Callaghan and his wife Donna of British Columbia. He was the proud grandfather of Louisa Ruddell (Steve), and Patrick Ruddell. Stan was the dear brother of J. Richard Callaghan and his wife Ruth of British Columbia. Survived by nieces and nephews. Stan will be fondly remembered by Arlene Callaghan. Predeceased by his parents Joanna (Batey) and John Richard Callaghan. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. cremation to follow.
