Of Elora, passed away peacefully at the age of 82 at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus. Beloved husband of Janet Campbell. Father to Martin Campbell, Roy Campbell (Lorraine) and step-father to Steven Campbell (Melissa Chu), Doug Campbell(predeceased) and Kathy Thauberger (Patrick). Grandfather and great grandfather to many.

John was born in Summerside, P.E.I. and was a member of the R.C.M.P. and then Agriculture Canada before his retirement in 1992 when he moved to Elora.
A Memorial visitation/reception will be held at The Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus from 1:00-4:00pm on Monday, December 18th, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to The Lung Association or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
