After 16 years of struggling with cancer, Nancy Cerson, (nee: Cowtan) died on Thursday, August 25th, at 9:20 p.m., very peacefully at home, with her family alongside her. Nancy was in her 71st year. Cherished wife of Don Cerson for 53 years. She will be sadly missed by her children, Mark (and Debbie), Cathy (and Mike Henry), Guy (and Pam), Dawn Weber, RD (and Nadia). Her heart was attached to 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Nancy is survived by her 4 brothers, Gerry, Ken, and the twins, Ron and Don. Visitation will be held, 2 evenings. Wednesday, August 31st, at the Listowel Kingdom Hall, 6-8 p.m., and Friday, September 2nd, at Wall-Custance Funeral Home, Guelph, from 2:30-8:00 p.m., or so. There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 3rd. Family and our many close friends are invited to Torch Lane Kindgom Hall, Guelph, for the service. Simultaneous tied-in services will be at the Eramosa Road Kingdom Hall (639 Eramosa, Guelph) and the Fergus Kingdom Hall (7713 Colborne, Fergus).
A tree will be planted in memory of Nancy C. Cerson in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 2:30 pm.
