Helen passed away at Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, January 19, 2018 at the age of 89, surrounded by her family. A loving wife and a devoted mother, attentive sister and aunt, and a dedicated teacher, Helen will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Eric Chilingarian, her daughter, Emily and her husband Ted Guthrie, siblings John (Irene) Davidian and Nelly (Norair) Prseh, and eight nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her parents Khosrov and Anahid Davidian, her son, Dr. Archie Chilingarian, and her siblings, Mariette (Zaven) Simonian and David Davidian. Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Friday, for a Visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., followed by interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the ARS – Meghri Chapter (Armenian Relief Society) would be appreciated.
