CHRISTIE, Frances Ann

Fran (Karn) Christie passed away at Guelph General Hospital on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in her 77th year surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife and best friend of Noel Christie. Dear mother of Michele Orr and her husband Kevin, Janet Evans and her husband Jason, and Marcia Matteis and her husband Paul, all of Guelph. Cherished Nana of Nathan (Sharon), Lindsay and Nolan Orr, Kyle and Nicole Evans, and Alexa and Ryan Matteis. 

Dear sister of Murray Karn and his wife Susan of Calgary, John Karn and his wife Glenda of Kitchener, and Mary Freidin and her husband Norman of Burlington. 

Fran worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 38 years. 

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St N, Guelph. Private family interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park. A celebration of life will take place at Cutten Fields, Guelph, at a later date.
