Passed away, peacefully, and surrounded by love, at the age of 86 years, on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband William Clayton and the loved mother of Jack Clayton and Cheryl Docksteader (Ron). Dear grandmother of Tara Marshall, Michelle Mannhardt, Ron Docksteader, Shawn Collison and Stacy Collison. Loved Nana of Jaylynn, Cameron and Brea Marshall, Annabelle, Magenta and Grayson Docksteader, Brooklyn Mannhardt-Ewing and Diane Collison. Sister-in-law of Newton Clayton, Garnet and Ruth Clayton, Bruce and Gert Clayton and Doreen Young, and the late Marguerite Clayton, Beverly and Marlene Clayton. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Muriel was a former employee of Yarway Canada.
Special thanks to all Mom’s amazing friends and family that traveled near and far to visit in the last few days. It meant the world to her. Extra special thanks to Hospice Wellington. You ladies are fantastic. We appreciated everything you have done.

As per Mom’s wishes, there is no visitation. Instead, we are having a party on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 44 Gateway Dr., in Guelph, from 3- 8 p.m. Please join us for food, drink and laughter.
