Passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, March 18, 2019. Rodney Coburn,
in his 73rd year, was the beloved husband of the late Doris Coburn
(2016)(They would have been married 54 years on March 27, 2019.) and the
beloved master of his two late Shih Tzus, Jake and Kodi. He was the dear
father of Candy Coburn, Tracy (Zernan) Ison and Samantha (Trevor) Mott.
Rod was the loving Banca [grandfather] of Sarah, Amanda, Cameron, Rowan,
Paige and Natasha and the great-grandfather of Oakli and Ayla. Rod is
survived by his mother Mavis Cooper and by two brothers Larry (Judy)
Coburn and Bryan (Lorelei) Coburn and by nieces and nephews. He was
predeceased by his step-father Victor Cooper (2016).
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son
Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph for a Celebration of Life on
Monday, March 25, 2019 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice
Wellington or to the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated by the
