Longtime resident and business owner in Streetsville, Ontario, passed away peacefully on January 10th, under the kind and gentle care of Dr. John Stickney and nursing staff in the ER and medical floor at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. Recently, Bill resided at Heritage River in Elora where he made many new friends and lived well under the care of the wonderful staff there. Predeceased by his wife and the love of his life Bernice (Stacey) 8 years ago. Beloved father of Lynda Ladner (Garry) of Elora, John Crawford of Milton and Dan Crawford (Martha) of Peterborough. Cherished grandfather of Matt (Lianne), Amie Butchart (Blaine), Jake (Sarah), Paul (Mel), MacKenzie (Lynne), Adam, Megan (Kevin), Paula (Al), Cameron (Christine) and MacKenzie. Fondly remembered by his great grandchildren Ava, Ella, Addison, Marcelle, Simon, Brittany, William, Macy, Finn, Myers, Pearson, Blythe and Elwood. Private family service will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home next week. Celebration of Bill’s life will be conducted in Spring 2018 in Streetsville, Ontario.
