Passed away suddenly at the Guelph General Hospital on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 3:45 a.m. Frances Caroline (nee Lasby) Dakin was the dear mother of Kim Drohan (Robert McInnes), Barton Drohan, Corrine Drohan and the late Marcia Drohan (2016) and step-mother of Lori Rolland Orr and Lisa Rolland Cannell. She is lovingly remembered by three grandchildren Jennifer Reid, Kendra Drohan and Natasha Byng. Frances is survived by her four siblings Doreen (Ron) Hauck, Ruth (late Tony) Contini, Charles (Kathy) Lasby and Sam Lasby. She was predeceased by her sister Doris Wilson.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a funeral service following in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m.
