DAMINATO, Augusto Francesco

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Guelph General
Hospital on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Augusto Daminato, in his 91st year,
was the beloved husband of Imelda (nee Crespi) Daminato for almost 59
years. He was the dear father of John (Karen), Titian (Jamie) and Robert
(Marie-France). Augusto is fondly remembered by seven grandchildren:
Alexandra, Samuel, Jacob, (Jess), Dana, Isabella and Sebastien. He is
survived by seven sisters Elsa, Imelda, Armida, Cecilia, Anna, Maria and
Giovanna and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Augusto is predeceased
by his sister Giuditta and two brothers Gianni and Aldo.
Special thanks to the Guelph General Hospital doctors and nurses on Fourth
Floor East, especially nurses Rob and Jeena.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son
Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Thursday, May
2, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Augusto will be held at the
funeral home on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated
at St. John’s Church, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph, on Friday, May 3, 2019
at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. In lieu of flowers
and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. John’s Community
Parish Community Building Fund would be appreciated by the family. Cards
