Passed away at the age of 84 on September 18, 2018. Cherished wife of the late Rev. Dr. Peter J. Darch and much loved mother of Heather (Mike Gasser) Pike River, Quebec, Alan (Heather Cromar), Kanata, Ontario, and Jane of Guelph, Ontario. Nana to her five precious grandchildren, Kenneth Peter Gasser (Heïdi Jetten), Thomas Michael Gasser, Timothy James Darch, Rebecca Eve Darch and Elliot John Darch.
Jacqueline was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland the eldest of four daughters born to John Crozier and Sarah (Gray). She will be remembered by her sisters Anne (Donald Gilchrist) Kemptville, Ontario and Eleanor (the late Thomas Gibson), Carryduff, Northern Ireland. Jacqueline was predeceased by her sister Gwenda (Kenneth Young), Saintfield, Northern Ireland.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service of remembrance will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL with internment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. The family would like to extend their sincerest thank you to the nurses, support staff and doctors at Arbour Trails and the Elliot Community for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to St. Andrew’s Church Memorial fund or Presbyterian World Service and Development both in care of St. Andrew’s Church, 161 Norfolk Street N1H 4J7 Guelph, Ontario.
