Born on the full moon on January 1, 1926, Romualdas Jonas Dunauskas passed away on the blue moon January 29, 2018 at the age of 92. Ron was one of a kind, always inspiring and encouraging everyone to do their best. This wise man had a big heart and magic hands, some say he had eyes in the back of his head. His secret to longevity was to work hard and then to play hard. He was a jack of many trades, so talented, he loved carving beautiful pictures in wood while listening to his favourite music. He loved flowers and planting his garden each Spring. His favourite moments were dancing all night with the ladies, walking through his forest with his dogs, he especially enjoyed sitting by a roaring fire telling jokes. Ron retired at age 55 and enjoyed a life filled with good health and happiness. Ron is survived by his son Ron (Cheryl), his grandson Ron Jr (Mary) and great grandchildren, Kailey and Lukas. He is also survived by one niece and several nephews. Predeceased by his son Terrance Dunauskas. He will be missed by one and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. At his request there will be no services. A celebration of his life will be held in the future. May you remember him for his fine craftsmanship, his love of life and his determination to succeed.
