Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Beloved husband of Sarah Dwyer (nee Kavanagh) for 50 wonderful years. Loving father of Lynn Gomes (Luis) and Brian Dwyer Jr. Proud grandfather Justin (Matt), Russell (Brooklyn) and Sarah, and great-grandfather of Blair. Sadly missed by siblings Brendon “June” (Susan), Neil, Patricia (the late Leo) and Julie “Did” (Brian). Predeceased by his parents Gerald and Alice Dwyer, his brother Wayne and his sister Sheila.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
Memorial donations made to The Cambridge Newfoundland Club to support their charitable work, would be appreciated by Brian’s family. Donation cards are available at the funeral home.
