Passed away peacefully at her home in Inverhaugh, Ontario, with her loving family by her side at the age of 65 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Erwin, of 41 years, as well as their children Chad Ellen, Carrie (Terry) Hewitson and Stacy (Curtis) Murr and grandchildren Aiden, Bryson, Deklan and Ethan Murr, Leigh and Brooke Hewitson. Maureen will also be missed by her siblings, Mary Anne (Joe) Driscoll, Marg (Doug) Hill and George (Laurie) Rogers, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Jean Rogers, and infant sister, Marie. There will be a celebration of life being held at the Elora Legion on Sunday, March 24th from 1:30-4:30pm. Donations can be made in her memory to Groves Memorial Hospital Equipment Fund or the Isaac Foundation.
