FAVARO, Norma (nee DaMaren)

Norma Favaro of Guelph Ontario, passed away peacefully at LaPointe-Fisher Nursing Home, Guelph, on Monday, June 26, 2017. She was in her 96th year. Norma was the dear mother of Silvio and his wife Marilyn, Rino and his wife Linda. Nonna will be missed by her beloved granddaughter Cindy. Norma was predeceased by her husband, Vito Favaro in 1989. She leaves to mourn her brother Mario DaMaren, sisters Elisa (Mrs Santo Tedesco) and Iolanda (Mrs Antonio Odorico). Norma was predeceased by her parents Clorinda & Luigi DaMaren, brother Berto and sisters Lina and Rina and granddaughter, Christie Favaro. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and cousins, here in Canada, Italy and South America.

Friends and family are invited to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Thursday, June 29, 2017, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with vigil prayers at 8:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be held for Norma at St. John’s Church, on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
