It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paula Aurora Field in her 66th year, on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Hospice Wellington Guelph. Paula passed of chronic leukemia and she was loved and cared for until her last breath. Paula will be fondly remembered and missed dearly for her positivity, kindness and warmth. Paula had an ability to make people feel comfortable and at ease. Paula is survived by a loving family; mother Eillen Field, father Ken Field (2015), siblings Wes, John, Paul, Dave, Anne and Brian. Caring and helpful good friends Harry Halliburton and Ken Naylor will also miss her greatly. Paula’s greatest gift was becoming a mother. Paula was a loving mother and a true friend to Rita.
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Paula A. Field in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
