Suddenly at home on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the age of 58. Beloved husband to Brandi Foord (nee Leather). Loved father of Charlene Foord (Cyrena) of Guelph, Mary Penney (Jason) of Kitchener, Janie Cantwell (Chris) of Guelph, Quinten Petty of Fergus and Georgia Petty of Guelph. Proud grandfather of Erica, Xander, Jaxtin, Ryder, Holden, Cooper and Jack. Kimball is survived by his mother in law: Goldie Leather; his sisters in-law Genesee Boyd (Scott) and Amber George (Dwayne); siblings Jocelyn and Kevin; many nieces, nephews, dear friends and acquaintances; his dogs Sasha and Hondo and his horses Cody and Bo.
Family meant everything to him. The soft spoken, quiet “Cowboy” was passionate about advocating for persons struggling with mental health. Proud supporter of Canadian Hunt Test, Field Trials and Long Riders Guild and an avid hunter who loved wild horses, wildlife and nature. He will be fondly remembered by many.
The family will greet friends at Lakeside Church, 7654 Conservation Road, Guelph on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 1 – 3 p.m. Complete funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Private family interment at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Mental Health Association or to the Homewood Health Centre would be appreciated.
